Adults and Seniors
The Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines for Adults [18-64 years] and Older Adults [65 years and older] both recommend, that for health benefits, people should be adding up at least 150 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity per week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more. Muscle and bone strengthening activities at least 2 days per week is also recommended. More activity provides greater health benefits.

Walk this Way is a set of program materials to help men and women ages 20-64+ start and stick to a new walking program to increase physical activity levels. The resource has practical information on how to get started, stay motivated and walk safely. So if you are thinking about becoming active this is a great way to start.
