You can improve your chances of becoming a father if you take care of yourself. Starting a few months before you and your partner try to get pregnant, you should:
- Stop or cut back on smoking and drinking alcohol
- Stop using illegal drugs
- Eat a nutritious diet and lose weight if needed
- Minimize stress
- Avoid being around chemicals, toxins and pollution
It takes approximately three months for sperm to mature. Those three months are critical and following the above suggestions is important if you care to send the very best. Remember both partners can support each other in making these lifestyle changes.
