Depressants

Depressants slow down or depress the central nervous system, making people feel more relaxed and less conscious of their surroundings.

Stimulants

Stimulants excite or speed up the central nervous system, making people feel more alert and energetic while decreasing their appetite.

Hallucinogens

Hallucinogens dramatically affect perception, emotions, and mental processes by distorting the senses and causing hallucinations.
