April 1, 2020, Simcoe, ON – Effective April 1, the Delhi Family Health Team and the Haldimand Family Health Team will provide sexual health clinic services for residents of Haldimand and Norfolk.

Health Unit staff have worked with these health care partners to ensure continuity of services to the two communities.

Through these organizations, residents in Haldimand and Norfolk counties will have increased access to sexual health clinical services including sexually-transmitted and blood-borne infections, testing and treatment, emergency contraceptives, birth control pills, pregnancy testing, options counselling, pap exams and other assessments and treatments.

Health Unit staff will offer referrals to the Delhi or Haldimand Family Health Teams to assist community members in accessing these services.

The Health Unit will also continue to offer comprehensive sexual health programming in local schools including sexual health clinical services for youth.
