Special Air Quality Statement Cancelled for Grand Erie Region

The acting medical officer of health has cancelled the Special Air Quality Statement issued on July 14, 2025. Air quality conditions have improved across the Grand Erie region, dropping below the high-risk category on the Air Quality Health Index (7-10).
Air pollution can be harmful to everyone’s health even at low concentrations. Residents who have questions about their personal risk level should consult their primary health care provider. To learn more about the health risks of air pollution, visit bchu.org/air or hnhu.org/air.
