Grand Erie Public Health Appoints Sarah Page as Chief Executive Officer

Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Page as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 11, 2025.

Sarah brings over 20 years of experience in health and human services to the role, including a strong track record of leadership in public sector transformation. A former frontline paramedic, she has since held senior roles across emergency medical services, long-term care, housing, social assistance, and public health. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Health and Social Services for Haldimand and Norfolk Counties.

Since April 2025, Sarah has served as Interim CEO of GEPH, leading the organization through a critical period of transition. She played a pivotal role in the creation of Grand Erie Public Health, guiding the merger of the former Brant County and Haldimand-Norfolk health units from early planning through to ongoing integration.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science and brings a strong foundation of practical knowledge to her leadership role. She has also completed advanced training in leadership, paramedicine, project management, and cultural safety. These skills have supported her success in overseeing complex systems and driving meaningful change in public health.

Grand Erie Public Health

Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) is one of Ontario’s public health units. GEPH formed in January 2025 when the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit and Brant County Health Unit merged. We are dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and well-being of communities within the County of Brant, City of Brantford, Haldimand County, and Norfolk County. Our work is guided by the Health Protection and Promotion Act and the Ontario Public Health Standards, ensuring that our programs and services meet the highest standards of public health practice.
