Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit announces move to Robinson Administration Building in Simcoe

The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit is moving to the Robinson Administration Building, located at 185 Robinson Street in downtown Simcoe, effective Monday, July 22, 2024. The new location will enhance residents’ access to a range of community health services.

The move will bring the Health Unit team closer to key health services, including the Norfolk Family Health Team, opening later this year, Norfolk County Community Paramedics, and Norfolk General Hospital, making it easier for teams to work together, and creating a healthcare hub for clients to get convenient access to care within the community.

How residents can access Public Health services

  • Public Health Services: Starting on Monday, July 22, residents can access Public Health Services on the second floor of the Robinson Administration Building. Visitors can check in at the Reception Desk.
  • Dental Health Clinics: All clinic services, including Oral Health Programs and services for children and seniors, will continue to be offered at the Gilbertson Administration Building at 12 Gilbertson Drive in Simcoe.

Community Paramedics and Emergency Services

Norfolk’s Community Paramedics team, part of the County’s Paramedic Services group, is also moving to the Robinson Street hub. All Norfolk County Paramedic Services emergency bases will remain active and in their current locations, ensuring no disruption to emergency services.

Provincial Offences Administration (POA) Office

Norfolk County Provincial Offences Administration (POA) Office services and courtrooms will continue to operate on the first floor of the Robinson Administration Building.
