Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit expanding options for children’s vaccination clinics

The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit (HNHU) has a number of different clinic options available for families seeking to vaccinate their children ages five to 11.

Clinics are available in Dunnville, Caledonia, Simcoe, Delhi, and other locations on the www.hnhu.org/popup page.

Clinics listed on this page include those facilitated by the HNHU, pediatric Pfizer clinics led by Norfolk General Hospital, primary care pop-ups, and GOVaxx buses that provide pediatric doses. Appointment times are posted one to two weeks before the clinic date to encourage families to book into the first available spaces – and will continue to be added for families to book second doses at appropriate intervals.

The pediatric formulation of Pfizer has been approved by Health Canada. During clinical trials, no safety issues were detected and the vaccine provided very good protection against COVID-19 following immunizations.
