Two residents of Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home have tested positive for COVID-19. The residents, at the current time, do not have symptoms.

Tests have been ordered for all residents and staff. The test results that have been received so far, beyond the two positive individuals, have been negative. Additional test results are pending.

Residents are currently being self-isolated in their rooms, where they are also receiving all meals. Staff are wearing full personal protective equipment.

Health Unit staff, working in collaboration with Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home staff, have recommended a full public health management plan.
