Norfolk General Hospital and the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit have received the first shipment of the Health Canada-approved Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. January 2, 2021 – The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Edgewater Gardens long-term care facility and a Norfolk Association for Community Living facility. One staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 at each location. The Health Unit is working with both facilities to institute a public health management plan.
