GO-VAXX Southwestern Ontario Tour

The GO-VAXX mobile vaccine clinic is on a Southwestern Ontario tour and is coming to Norfolk.

The converted Metrolinx bus will roll its first Norfolk location, the Langton Arena, to administer first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Nov. 3 from 12 to 6 p.m. The bus will then move to the Culver St. public parking lot (across from Argyle St.) in Simcoe on Nov. 4 between 12 and 6 p.m.

“We are working hard to be able to offer all residents of Haldimand and Norfolk every opportunity to receive their COVID-19 vaccine,” said Sarah Page, COVID-19 vaccine lead – and chief of paramedic services. “The GO-VAXX bus provides residents with a unique, quick and convenient opportunity to get their shot close to home. Norfolk County’s support and commitment to bringing the bus to Langton and Simcoe has been key in making this opportunity possible.”

Anyone born in 2009 or earlier is eligible – and no appointment is required. The bus is fully accessible and staffed with trained medical professionals available to answer any questions and discuss any concerns.
