Aboriginal Identity – Statistics in Haldimand and Norfolk

Approximately 3.2% of the population of Haldimand and Norfolk are Aboriginal (excludes on reserve). A slightly higher proportion of Aboriginals live in Haldimand (3.4%) compared to Norfolk (2.9%).
A higher proportion of Aboriginals are concentrated in Hagersville (8.7%), Waterford (3.9%) and Delhi (3.8%) compared to other urban areas in Haldimand and Norfolk (excludes on reserve).
