The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has confirmed the death of a resident infected with COVID-19. However, the resident passed due to other causes. The resident had been living in a congregate living setting and was hospitalized prior to their passing. In the interests of privacy, no further details can be made available at this time.

The HNHU has added a monthly report of breakthrough cases to the Additional Daily Statistics webpage. This report will be updated monthly. Data includes all cases since June 1, 2021, when vaccines became readily available for all residents ages 12 and older. Any questions can be directed to Corporate Communications.
