Becoming a Breastfeeding Friendly Business / Workplace – A Toolkit
Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit supports the Baby-Friendly Initiative. The purpose of this tool kit is to provide education and support promotion of breastfeeding practice among families, health care providers, businesses and communities.
This kit is created to help local businesses/workplaces build their knowledge about breastfeeding and provide tools to better support breastfeeding women and their families. As a result, breastfeeding will become normal practice within our community. We encourage you to publicly display the provided signs to demonstrate that you support a Breastfeeding Friendly Haldimand and Norfolk. Any venue can participate: restaurants, indoor play centres, pharmacies, local government offices, shops, banks and so on.
